Dubai

There are seven emirates that makes up the United Arab Emirates (UAE). One of these emirates is Dubai, one of the biggest success stories in the region, known for its landmark skyscrapers, vast shopping malls and man-made islands.

Dubai is a city surrounded by a desert landscape but holds excellent infrastructure and incredible amenities which has helped it become a popular tourist destination in recent years. Dubai makes a great short break for partying, hitting the shopping malls and browsing some of the most lucrative brands in the world, or relaxing and basking in the sun.

Language Barriers should rarely provide an issue as English is widely spoken in Dubai with restaurant menus, road signs and other information all displayed in English and Arabic. Visitors from all corners of the globe have been pulled in to this Middle eastern hotspot, and now Dubai has the largest immigrant population in the world. Lately, Dubai has emerged as a cosmopolitan metropolis that has gradually grown as a cultural hub of the middle east and the Persian Gulf region.

It seems that anything is possible in Dubai and that catchphrase is often used. For adventure seekers and history buffs, shopaholics and beach bathers, there something offer for everyone in this unique ‘playground in the dessert. Its not just the glitzy, deluxe hotels on offer, one of, if not, the most important ingredient of Dubai’s success is the friendliness and hospitality of the locals.
